Another venue at the Grand Texas Sports and Entertainment District in New Caney will open to the public for a sneak peek event.
The event will offer free admission to Gator Bayou Adventure Park from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 3. However, the maximum occupancy is 5,000 attendees, according to a post on the venue’s website.
Most of the park’s “adventures” will be free. The venue’s website lists a variety of activities, such as a fishing hole, a petting zoo, pony rides, bumper boats, a maze, zip lines, a free-fall attraction, a climbing wall and Wild Isle, a floating attraction with water slides, play features and challenge course activities.
Three adventures will be pay-to-play on Nov. 3: Big Rock Mining, where visitors use a sluice box to mine for rocks and gems; Eagle Challenge, a six-story structure with more than 50 activities; and Raccoon Run, an aerial adventure for kids ages 5-10.
